I tried to keep my little break private, but I have been getting a lot of requests for work lately and I am just not able to take on any more projects at this time. This past year has been very successful and stressful for me, as I have been pretty much painting non stop for months on end. At this point I am very well into a creative and emotional burn out. I burned my candle at both ends for a very long time and have managed to nearly drive myself crazy, and not the fun kooky crazy we all love.

I will still be working with my core group of clients like sourpuss clothing and most likely Low Brow Art Company in the near future, but I will no longer for the time being be taking on any more company logo work, or clothing design work, with a very few exemptions. After my much needed break I will only be taking on select projects. I will be as straight forward as I can when I say that most likely I will only be doing custom pin ups, and one of a kind paintings, and possibly the occasional design work if the project catches my fancy. My art is not my primary income, and the money has begun to matter less and less to me. It is the creative integrity that matters most, and that is what has been suffering while trying to force myself to work.

I will be hopefully painting during this break, but only personal work. I think at this time it is the only way to go, as I definitely prefer being an artist over being a business gal.
