A 12x24 custom pin up for Bettina. This piece is mainly done in watercolor on arches cold press. The paper was then burned and distressed at the edges before mounted on a canvas treated with black spray paint and glitter medium. The highlighted with some acrylic. Not shown in this image is the final high gloss varnish and jewel accents on the shoes, hat, skull and girdle
YOU´RE FUCKING AWESOME PART II!!!!
I'm sorry but this is the most amazing thing I've seen in a freaking long time. Love the pose, the colors and the face detail.
Thank you! One of my milestone pieces for 2010! I hope to get into this frame of ind again soon!
pure evil! and pure awesomeness!
i simply love it the rib cages like part for her a little evil heart haha
Bettina Shwartz from the OPP?
Nope...Bettina the Tattooed German tattoo artist from New York lolz.
BITCHIN! As always very marvelous!
That's pretty much the sickest thing I ever saw! Overwhelmingly rad!
Thanks! I've been in this brUtal mood lately...its working for me..but time to get back to my regular colors soon
Lovely work thats a big from me.
gah! i think i just had a tiny orgasm.... O_O
Lol! I had one when I was able to scan it...I was freaking out becuase I have to ship it...my camera sucks and is very outdated...and I just couldn't part with it withou getting a proper image. So although scanning something on canvas is no fun it is totally possible!
You are truly an amazing artist Emily!! Bettina is going to give her a VERY good home!!! I can't thank you enuff for all that you have done!! Came out totally BAD ASS!!!!!!
Awww You bring out the beast...I mean best in my work I think. I put enough bad ass in this for many many hours of enjoyment
Ooh she's badass! Looks like a cut out shadow box type affair, would work really well with your stuff
I have a project kinda like that tucked in corner collecting dust. I wanted to do an automaton where you turn the crank and the little zombie dancer moves...but as I got further into it I realized I don't have all the tools I need to really make it happen. I haven't completely given it up...but its daunting thinking of fabricationg pieces without the proper tools.
Oh yeah I remember that now, still a static box wouldn't take too long and then you could sell it to buy tools!
I can only imagine how much I would have sell to buy a garage to put those tools in...metal working in a tiny carpeted apartment screams disaster to me lol.
She is lovely & my first Fave under my new guise.
Awesome! I'm in awe
So good!!! <3 this
Thank you! It feels good knocking out bigger pieces like this..more of theese to come I think!
