I'm starting to toy with the idea of using watermarks on my images. I had an instance on another site where someone downloaded my image and adjusted the levels a bit, to show me how it would look "better" All this was done in a critique forum. Ok so far nothing is wrong and I'm not concerned about it. Then things got stupid when he said he wanted to hang it in his shop. My reply was "I appreciate comments and critiques, but I don't appreciate art theft. If you want hang it in your shop buy a print, support artists don't steal their work."
I mean its not like I'm ignorant to the fact that people probably do it every day, it just hits you more when they do it right to to your face. What the hell. I mean really why would you notify someone you intended to, for no benefit to the artist, print out their work and hang it in a tattoo shop. I the shop you have the ability to cash in on the design multiple times, where I have only the chance right now to MAYBE sell a few prints.
So really what it comes down to now is yeah, I love to paint but I also would like to paint alot more and to do that I have to make some money.
So don't steal my stuff. Dig a little deeper in the wallet because its not like a 20$ print will break your bank. Or if you are an artist as well do a trade, those are fun and cheaper ways to collect art prints.


I just want to say a huge thank to everyone out there who has been a supporter of my work. I feel like I'm getting better all the time and I just love sharing what I do with all of you! I have allot of stuff in the works so keep your eyes open for some new exciting pieces coming up within the next few weeks!
